(C) The SINIO Council and the National Cryptologic School are pleased to present the fifth in a
series of Strategic Intelligence Issue Seminars for Summer 2003. "The Warning Process" will be
presented by the Deputy SINIO for Warning,
on 17 July from 1100-1300 in
Room 2N092 (OPS1 building) . Advance registration is required; instructions are provided at
the end of this article.
Course Overview:
(U//FOUO) Have you ever wondered how the Indications and Warning (I&W;) process is handled
at both the national level and specifically here at NSA? Discussion will cover players,
philosophies, functions and publications of the Intelligence Community Warning apparatus, with
special emphasis on NSA's role in both the National Intelligence Warning System (NIWS) and
Defense I&W; System (DIWS).
