Rodehouse: SID’s Offsite Language Processing Center (Part II)

SUMMARY

After 9/11, the need for linguists grew. Missions set up for Somali, Arabic, Amharic, Pashto/Dari, and Tagalog. Facilities at three clearance levels are physically segregated and have different levels of computer access; they are supervised by fully cleared contractors.
