Have you ever wished you could be part of the action in NSOC? If so, a position as an SRO in NSOC may be just what you are looking for! We are in search of IA/Editors with extensive "hands-on" reporting experience who are looking for a challenging position in which they will be an authority for SIGINT reporting and dissemination issues, and will be the focal point for NSA CRITIC reporting around the clock. (U//FOUO) With the support of the Reporting Officer (RO), the SRO is the critical link between NSA reporters and customers, assisting analysts with reporting and distribution questions and ensuring the timely delivery of top-quality SIGINT reporting to the right customer set, to include national policymakers. (U//FOUO) As an SRO, you will continue to broaden your expertise on a wide variety of reporting issues. Here is just a sampling of the many activities you will be engaged in during an 8-hour watch: CRITIC Reporting Reporting Policy Expert USSID-18 Considerations Pre-publication Review Customer Support Global Awareness (U//FOUO) This is an exceptional opportunity for an energetic self-starter wishing to expand on his/her analytic background. Expertise in USSID-300, as well as experience with handling of sensitive reporting such as I, E, and S series reporting is required. Familiarity with the Intelligence Community structure is a plus. Selectees must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Intelligence Analysts with an eye on career progression will benefit from a dynamic assignment as an SRO. (U//FOUO) Incumbents of this role review product reports for compliance with USSIDs and other standards, accurate and effective organization, clarity and precision of writing, target accuracy, classification and product distribution. Incumbents also sanitize end product reports for release to certain customers.
