"China's Changing Role in the World" will be presented by Mike Vance, Assistant SINIO for East Asia, on Tuesday, 3 August, from 1130-1300 in Room 2N044 . (U) Course Overview: (S) Chinese foreign policy is shifting from a low-profile, reactive approach to engaging the international arena, to a more sophisticated and activist stance. Both the intelligence and academic communities have begun to note this shift, which is changing the way we view China's role in international politics.
