Identity theft is becoming more and more common these days. From running up stolen credit
card purchases to creating false identification cards or passports, identity thieves have myriad
reasons for stealing your identity. Thieves can find out information about you from simply
rummaging through your garbage cans and pilfering your mailbox to involving you in telephone
and Internet scams.
(U) This workshop gives a comprehensive understanding of:
How identities are stolen;
How the stolen identity might be used;
What to do if your identity is stolen; and,
How to protect yourself from becoming a victim.
