Hundreds of members of the intelligence community attended the 2004 SIGINT Development Conference. Some positive feedback is detailed.

NSA can be proud of the efforts they are making in the Global War On Terrorism" ... "All the briefers illustrated their dedication and ingenuity in solving very difficult national security problems. I came away with a much deeper appreciation of the very hard work that happens at NSA" ... "All briefers were extremely knowledgeable in their subjects" ... "Demonstrated cooperative efforts among the 5-Eyes and among the various technical SIGINT disciplines" ... "Very open sharing of information and ideas" ... "Very impressed with the number of new ideas being talked about" ... "Have learned new ways and ideas to exploit data" ... "You all worked hard and helped us achieve a lot -- thanks" ... "My third Conference in a row and it was by far the best organized and most customer friendly" ... "Hospitality was excellent" .... (U//FOUO) ... A sample of the feedback from attendees at the SIGINT Development Conference organized by SIGDEV Strategy & Governance (SSG) and held at NSAW from 21 to 25 June 2004, which points to the success of this annual event that continues to attract record numbers of delegates from around the world. The 28 volunteers, predominantly from S2, manning the registration desks did a sterling job in coping with 642 delegates who registered on-line prior to the conference and a further 152 who turned up during the week. (U//FOUO) Although SID personnel based at NSAW were the largest contingent, the Conference also attracted sizeable numbers from: the Second Parties, the Extended Enterprise, other Agencies including DIA, CIA, National Reconnaissance Office, National Ground Intelligence Center, Joint Spectrum Center and National Air & Space Intelligence Center, US Military Units, and External Contractors. Outside of SID there were representatives from, among others, Security Tools Technology Center, Information Operations Technology Center, Unified Cryptologic Architecture Office, Special Collection Service, End-User Products & Technology Office, Special Operations and Strategic Engineering Office, National Security Operations Center, and the Research Associate Directorate. (U//FOUO) Delegates had the opportunity to choose from 110 different presentations, workshops, demonstrations, tours and training sessions provided by 98 individuals representing SSG and the 3 SIGDEV Centers (Network Analysis Center, Target Analysis Center and Target Technology Trends Center), S01, S2, S3, DB, R, GCHQ, CSE, DSD, GCSB, NGA, NGIC and US and Canadian Military. (U) Presentations have now been published on the Conference website at .
