(U//FOUO) The suspense is over! Last Friday, Charlie Meals, the SIGINT Deputy Director
bestowed the "Sidney Award for 2004-2005" on Donna Rober, for her article "Christmas in
Iraq." The award is presented annually to the author of the SID today article which garners the
largest number of positive "feedback" comments from the readership.
(C) Donna's penned her article while deployed for 120 days as the Data Acquisition (S3) lead in
Iraq. (See the article here .) Mr. Meals commented that the winning article gave a valuable
personal perspective on the situation in Iraq, one much appreciated by the work force.
