Representative, USSOCOM (F1T) Run Date: 03/15/2006 (U//FOUO) US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) is hosting its 2006 Cryptologic Conference, " Enabling Expeditionary SIGINT Operations " from 11 to 14 April at USSOCOM Headquarters, MacDill AFB. (U//FOUO) The purpose of the conference is to enable Special Operations Forces (SOF) Cryptologic personnel to meet in a forum to share lessons learned from ongoing SOF operations in the War on Terrorism. The conference also provides an opportunity for SOF Cryptologic components, subordinate units and TSOCS (Theater Special Operations Commands) to bring up any issues or concerns. (U//FOUO) Briefings to be presented include Current and Future Cryptologic Support to SOF, Emerging Technologies and the initiatives resulting from the USSOCOM and NSA Special Cryptologic Partnership. (U//FOUO) Representatives from NSA and the Service Cryptologic Elements are invited to attend. USSOCOM requests that only area technical experts attend, due to the limited number of seats that are available. All NSA participants wanting to attend will need to coordinate with , NCR SOCOM Staff, , NSTS . (C) Conference attendees require TS//SI TK clearances to attend. Some of the briefings will be held in FOCAL POINT channels. All attendees are required to hold FOCAL POINT clearance. Clearances need to be provided to USSOCOM SSO by 04 April, include the conference identification number in the message, CRYPT06 and Info copy NCR SOCOM. (FOUO) Uniform for military members will be the uniform of the day for USSOCOM (BDU/DCU) and civilians will be appropriate business attire. A non-reimbursable conference fee of $20 will be collected during conference registration.
