(U//FOUO) ITD's Collaboration Testing Initiative is currently in need of analysts to help test a
collaboration tool named GROOVE, starting next week! To participate, you must register BY
FRIDAY, July 14th -- see below for details.
(U//FOUO) GROOVE, and other such tools we have already tested*, facilitate the creation of
virtual work groups. Multiple users are provided the capability of working together through
online video/audio conferencing, online chat, bulletin boards, white boards and shared
applications.
(U//FOUO) Please join us in testing GROOVE! Each day consists of 4 hours (0900-1100 then
1300-1500). Day 1 is for learning how to use the application, and day 2 is for working an actual
scenario.
(U//FOUO) The training schedule is as follows:
17-18 July 2006 - Group 1
19-20 July 2006 - Group 2
24-25 July 2006 - Group 3

) -- the door appears to be locked, but is not: you can walk right in. After you walk
through the door and up the ramp, turn RIGHT and the LAB is located to the RIGHT.

To date, we have tested the following collaboration tools: InfoWorkSpace (IWS), CollabraSuite,
SAMETIME , and LIVELINK.
