(S) The SINIO Council and the National Cryptologic School are pleased to present the 10th in a
series of Strategic Intelligence Issue Seminars for the summer of 2006. " Youth Movements in
Russia and Eurasia - An Overview " will be presented by the SINIO for Russia/Eurasia, Ms.
Course Overview:
(S) British statesman Benjamin Disraeli once stated "...the youth of a nation are the trustees of
posterity." The involvement of the Ukrainian youth movement Pora! during that country's
"Orange Revolution" is a prime example of how the efforts of the youth can influence the path of
a nation. This session will provide an overview of the growing number of youth movements in
both Russia and Eurasia, and look at their goals, activities and affiliations.
