(U//FOUO) Effective Monday, 16 October, Mrs. Fran Fleisch (pictured) will step into the position
of SID Chief of Staff. Most recently, Mrs. Fleisch served as the Assistant Director for SIGINT
Operations in NSA's Foreign Affairs Directorate. Prior to that, she had spent the majority of her
career working in SID (and its predecessor organizations), starting as a Russian linguist in 1980
and culminating in her role as Production Manager for the China/Korea Product Line (S2B).
(U//FOUO) Mrs. Fleisch will succeed Karyn L. Vice, who has been appointed Special Assistant to
the Deputy Director, NSA, for NCR (NSA/CSS Representative) Governance Matters. Ms. Vice has
been SID's Chief of Staff since 2004.
