Observations from CAPSTONE — a Class for Newly Minted Generals and Admirals

SUMMARY

An NSA assistant director who attended a training course for newly promoted one-star generals found that the military regards the NSA highly and deems it open to sharing information. That said, he believes that agencies within the intelligence community "may be 10 years behind [the military] in developing a joint operational culture." He also feels that he cannot "understate his concern that the armed forces are overstretched.
