SUMMARY

The final Strategic Intelligence Issue Seminar of 2006 focuses on strategic nonviolent conflict, an effective - yet not well understood - way to get rid of dictators. A PBS documentary on the October 2000 "spectacular defeat" of Slobodan Milosevic will be screened, followed by a discussion.

"Bringing down a Dictator," a PBS film, documents the spectacular defeat of Slobodan Milosevic in October 2000 by a nonviolent strategy of massive civil disobedience. A discussion on what has happened since and nonviolent movements as change agents will follow the film.
