New Policy for the Coalition in Afghanistan Is Signed

SUMMARY

A new directive governing the Afghanistan SIGINT Coalition has been signed. The coalition is U.S.-led and shares intelligence and "operational goals in a multilateral analytic environment focused on the Afghan theater." The initial nine members were the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Norway, Denmark, France, and the Netherlands. Germany and Sweden has since joined.
