Intel Update
a. The protests in Washington D.C. once again demonstrated a growing discord
between native American protesters and non-native protesters. Non-natives
protesters were not allowed to participate in some events or to attend meetings
with Senator Bernie Sanders. This growing divide will continue to weaken the
protest movement in North Dakota and may prevent some protesters from
returning to the state since they have lost the support of the residents of
Standing Rock.
b. Protesters continue to recirculate images from Standing Rock, using them as
propaganda to garner support and funding for protest efforts in other locations
and for legal funds
Past 24 Hours
a. Protesters continue to spread false propaganda on social media that the pipeline
is unsafe due to faulty and rushed construction.

b. Protesters are visiting protesters camps in other states on their way back to
North Dakota. This delay will be beneficial for DAPL as the number of protesters
in the Standing Rock area will be limited.
Next 24 Hours
a. Continued monitoring of Open Source information, ISR feeds, and other sources
of information to provide accurate assessments of protester activities/migration
which may impact DAPL operations.
b. Cleanup efforts continue

3. ILLINOIS FUSION
ii.
Intel Update
a. Illinois activists have recently voiced differing opinions on Dave Archambault
after his recent speech in Washington DC. The split is over his eviction and
removal of the Sacred Stone Camp in North Dakota. The majority seem to side
with
and her vision of the camp as a prayer camp and
a small fraction believing that Archambault was unjustly attacked during his
speech in DC. The discussion has created a small rift in the Illinois activists, with
the majority supporting
. While
has always been a recognized
leader by the Illinois activists, this rift has in the majority of circles been elevated
markedly.
b.
has been considered a spiritual leader within the North Dakota
activists’ community. This public split from the Standing Rock Tribe has expanded
her “spiritual” influence across a much larger audience. More specifically, a
much more sought after presence in Illinois. She will be the keynote speaker at
an upcoming 7th Annual Campus Eco-Feminism Summit at the University of
Illinois Urbana-Champaign Campus, Native House (1400-1600hrs).
c. Continued public appearances in Illinois, more specifically Chicago is likely and
will be a key source of fund raising for
and the activist’s future
operations. While this has been planned for more than a week, it just appeared
in the Illinois activist’s social media feeds since last night.

d. That event will be followed by a paid event at the State Farm Center in
Champaign, Illinois (1930 – 2230). Tickets are available for this event range from
$65.00-$350.00 a seat.

e. The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Campus is also planning other
events to include a lunch discussion Friday, 17 March 2017 and another lunch
discussion on 7 April 2017

f. There will be a fund-raising rally in support of the Stand with Standing Rock
movement in Chicago, 16 March 2017.

g. Two youth activists from the International Indigenous Youth Council of Chicago
and regular participants in Anti-DAPL protests in Chicago, conducted an
interview with Social Justice News Nexus Chicago. The key take away from the
interview is that they plan on continuing the protests against ALL pipeline
projects.
