Law enforcement strengthened the defense of the HWY 1806 with concertina wire while construction crews further fortified Fortress Forward and the pullback site. A contingent of protestors arrived in MD from the remaining protestors in IA continue to regroup. The Details a. EXECUTIVE SU IVI MARY A. North Dakota i. Intel Update a. Camp 2 continues to expand as protestors from out of state arrive. Mississippi Stand Protestors arrived at Standing Rock with a 20? U-Haul full of supplies. b. Protestors are attempting to organize buses for protestors in other states to travel to Standing Rock. The buses will not be dispatched until 50 people sign up for anyr given state that are willing to stavr for the winter. Organizers are giving priorityr to Native Americans. The busing will begin 10 NOV. c. The bridge on HWY 1806 will remain closed per law enforcement. ii. Past 24 Hours a. Law enforcement placed wire near their road block on the HWY 1806 bridge to prevent foot traffic on the bridge. b. Added wire on top of hescos at Fortress Forward. Additional wire placed around the perimeter to reinforce securityr posture. c. Began adding four foot hescos topped with wire and dirt berms along the south side of the pull pipe. d. No protest activities of note. e. Developed a complete operational plan for the HDD site and surrounding area. Next 24 Hours a. Tensions will remain high as DAPL workers continue efforts on the ROW east of HWY 1806. b. Continue to reinforce wire plan on the HDD site and the perimeter of the Ivlever propertv. c.
