awareness of recent US
media coverage of perceived racial and other issues in American society, which the group is trying to
exploit.

discussing the
user’s involvement in the 25 April rioting in Baltimore, Maryland on 25 April that resulted in 70
comments. One user posted a comment suggesting that a riot would occur on May Day.

criminal activity, which often occurs during otherwise lawful protests. Under cover of these
criminal acts, anarchist extremists have sought to commit larger attacks, such as using
improvised incendiary devices against critical infrastructure.

development in this morning’s Homeland Intelligence Daily. I&A also provided this
