To: Subject: Family Assistance Reintegration Program You are receiving this natice as the ORR funded Legal Service Provider supporting ORR's responsibilities consistent with 8U.S.C. 1232(c)5) and 45 C.F.R_ 410.1309. Please communicate this information with al Logal Service Provider sub-contractors supporting ORR's UAC Burcau. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will provide a one-time ese tiement support stpend of $2,500 US. Dollars tounaccompaniedalien chidren, 14 years of age and older, who have elected tovoluntarily depart the United States as of the date of this notice and ming forward. This benefit doesnot extend t chidren who are no longer in ORR custody. Ths benefits intended to support reintegration efforts following deparure. Minors from Mexico are not eligible for this program. DHS has identified unaccompanied alien childrenin ORR custody who have communicated their intent tofile or have filed fo voluntary departure. ORRIs concurrent providing ts care provider network with the following instructions: 1. For those children n your care that plan to elect for voluntary departure: as soon as possible but no later ‘than 24 hours, case managers must provide the child's Legal Services Provider (LSP) or attomey of record's contact information to the assigned DHS/Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Feld Office Juvenile Coordinator (FOC). 2. Casemanagers must coordinate a meeting location with the LSP or attomey of record, the DHS/CE FOIC, ‘andthe UAC eligible for the voluntary departure stipend, via email. The meeting may take place at the immigration court (if the child has an upcoming hearing), at the care provider facility, or the local DHS/ICE office. The DHS/ICE FOIC may attend virtually, as convenient. 3. Ithechildagrees to the stipend, DHS willissuea 210 addendum declaration for the chid to ign. Tothe extent feasible, the case manager must obtain a copy of the signed form from the DHS/ICE FOIC after the. ‘child signs the form. The case manager must upload the form to the UAC Portal’s Document’s tab as part of the child's case fie. 4. ICE FOICs wil ntify the ORR care provider once an immigration judge has reviewed and granted the Voluntary Departure.
