Curtis Black

Curtis Black has covered Chicago politics and communities over a span of four decades. He was editor of the monthly newspaper Haymarket from 1981 to 1986 and of Community Media Workshop's news service from 1998 to 2013. He currently writes for the Chicago Reporter and the Invisible Institute. He's also a musician, playing trumpet with his own group and with Sidepocket Experience.
