Lynn Dombek is the former Research Director for First Look Institute. She joined FLM in 2014 to create a collaborative research team for the organization, comprised of investigative researchers, archivists, fact-checkers, engineers, and digital security experts. Over her 30-year career, she has developed and led award-winning research teams at the Associated Press and Time Inc., and held a variety of research roles at Newsday, NBC News, and ABC News. In between research gigs, she spent six months in Antarctica as a materials specialist at the U.S. South Pole Station.
