Nick Berardini is a documentary filmmaker who directed Killing Them Safely, a film about Taser International and how the company has fought legal, medical, and regulatory challenges. That film was partially funded by donations from the family of Stanley Harlan, a 23-year-old from Moberly, Missouri, who was shocked with a Taser by police for 31 seconds and died in August 2008.
