Nicole Carty is a political strategist and movement organizer based in New York.
She has nearly two decades of experience as a movement and has played roles in some of the most vital movements of the 21st century including Occupy Wall Street and the Movement for Black Lives. Nicole has trained hundreds of organizers in strategic campaigning and civil resistance and serves as board chair of Momentum, a training institute and movement incubator for mass movement organizations that she helped develop. Nicole’s movement analysis has been featured in Waging Nonviolence, Convergence, and The Forge. Nicole currently serves as Executive Director of Get Free a youth-led movement to reckon with and repair the harm of white supremacy in order to realize a multiracial democracy for all.
