Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders this week assailed rival Hillary Clinton for taking large speaking fees from the financial industry since leaving the State Department.
According to public disclosures, by giving just 12 speeches to Wall Street banks, private equity firms, and other financial corporations, Clinton made $2,935,000 from 2013 to 2015:
Clinton’s most lucrative year was 2013, right after stepping down as secretary of state. That year, she made $2.3 million for three speeches to Goldman Sachs and individual speeches to Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Fidelity Investments, Apollo Management Holdings, UBS, Bank of America, and Golden Tree Asset Managers.
The following year, she picked up $485,000 for a speech to Deutsche Bank and an address to Ameriprise. Last year, she made $150,000 from a lecture before the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.
To put these numbers into perspective, compare them to lifetime earnings of the median American worker. In 2011, the Census Bureau estimated that, across all majors, a “bachelor’s degree holder can expect to earn about $2.4 million over his or her work life.” A Pew Research analysis published the same year estimated that a “typical high school graduate” can expect to make just $770,000 over the course of his or her lifetime.
This means that in one year — 2013 — Hillary Clinton earned almost as much from 10 lectures to financial firms as most bachelor’s degree-holding Americans earn in their lifetimes — and nearly four times what someone who holds only a high school diploma could expect to make.
Hillary Clinton’s haul from Wall Street speeches pales in comparison to her husband’s, which also had to be disclosed because the two share a bank account.
“I never made any money until I left the White House,” said Bill Clinton during a 2009 address to a student group. “I had the lowest net worth, adjusted for inflation, of any president elected in the last 100 years, including President Obama. I was one poor rascal when I took office. But after I got out, I made a lot of money.”
The Associated Press notes that during Hillary Clinton’s time as secretary of state, Bill Clinton earned $17 million in talks to banks, insurance companies, hedge funds, real estate businesses, and other financial firms. Altogether, the couple are estimated to have made over $139 million from paid speeches.

Honoring a member of the “TEAM.”
This is not the fault of scum bag corporate shills like Hillary; not even the fault of the propaganda from the corporate media, the corporate favoring laws from congress and the judiciary, the school and church indoctrination’s etc. This is purely a failure of the American people do do any reflective thinking. The information is there for all, this is not an Egyptian Dynasty where the elites and priest class controlled the truth. Dear American people, Think, I know it’s hard but try it, your nation is leading the world backward to the bad old days for the working class.

Free Speech may be endangered but not FEE Speech.
Speech, the accepted way of bribery.
Since outright bribery is illegal, make it legal by inviting someone to spout off cliches before the members of a powerful institution or rich industry.
Since the money was given for a ‘service’ or ‘presentation’, it wasn’t bribery but just a fee.
Rule of lawyers than Rule of Law.
Hooray for Hillary!! She has spent the last twenty years forging ahead with right wingers hanging onto her, so she deserves every dollar she makes!
Great for her!! Don’t be jealous cause she’s making bank
Instead of cash in an envelope passed under a table , the bribe now comes in an honorarium in plain view.
I’m surprised her speeches were so good, because in Iowa only a few hundred people wanted to hear them, without any entrance fee. Could it be that the banks didn’t buy speeches but influence?
How can you say that? Of course her great wisdom is worth hundreds of thousands.
i would LOVE LOVE LOVE for her to have to spend her money at the canteen in the federal prison – with that kind of money, she could feed herself enough to explode !!!!! what a vile excuse of humanity !!!!
Bill Clinton didn’t “make” a lot of money. He was given a lot of money.
How does Bill Clinton “take” compare with George W. Bush’s?
Banks obviously wanting her trading advice after her tremendous success with cattle futures…
“…economists from the University of North Florida and Auburn University investigated the odds of gaining a hundred-fold return in the cattle futures market during the period in question. Using a model that was stated to give the hypothetical investor the benefit of the doubt, they concluded that the odds of such a return happening were at best 1 in 31 trillion.”
Hope she didn’t buy a Powerball ticket.

This makes me want to puke, these banks will give this hag 2.9 million dollars for minutes of her time but will only give me 1.52% on a $50,000 cd.
lol. I quite agree. I want to know what her daughter has to say that these idiots shell out 25k for. I shake my head.
The Democrats have been and are now the party of the rich, the entrenched, the time-servers, the drones and the blind ideologues. The crocodile tears they weep as the middle class, working class and the poor see their standard of living decline in an ‘unofficial’ (unreported) inflation where prices skyrocket and wages and transfer payments remain stagnant are heartfelt and sincere, no doubt. But there is no profit in speaking to impoverished peasants, hence HRC’s penchant for those same bankers who coincidently read like a list of those who made billions during Bigmouth Bill’s mortgage bubble rip-off. No lie lasts forever said Honest Abe, and the lie of the Democrats sticking up for the downtrodden is well past its expiration date.
So what – you jealous????
How can anyone not see through these Clinton creatures. Look at the s*** eating grin on Blanky’s face! “I own this creature, bunions and all”. My God!
When Bill described himself as a “rascal” he was spot on.
Speeches?
Weren’t they more like lectures? solicitations? advisories?
Or just political ‘adornments’?
10 Highest-Paid Public Speakers In the World
Donald Trump, $1-1.5 million: In 2006 and 2007, The Learning Annex shelled out a hefty fee to have Donald Trump at their Real Estate Wealth Expos, paying him a whopping $1.5 million per speech for a 17-seminar conference. Trump only had to speak for an hour at each one, but audience members say he gave them their money’s worth by staying to answer audience questions. This was after Trump had already raked in one million per speech speaking at the same seminars in 2005. The company felt Trump was well worth the money, however, as few others have the celebrity and business savvy he does.
Ronald Reagan, $1 million: Back in 1989, the Fujisankei Communications Group in Japan paid this former president a cool million per speech to come to the country and tour. Reagan gave two speeches while there as well as speaking at media outlets and giving interviews. Still, Reagan didn’t make out too shabby with $2 million (in 1989 dollars) under his belt for sharing his business and presidential experience with the company desperately in need of public relations help. The Reagans created a national sensation in Japan, boosting the company’s profile.
I guess you don’t get the difference between people who were working for government and people in the private sector.
There is a massive difference between an accomplished private sector businessperson sharing knowledge -vs- an unaccomplished political grifter who has nothing more to offer than access to the wheels of government.
Donald Trump isn’t the epitome of success in business. Look at his record.
So you’re agreeing that Hillary is a shill for Wall Street then. Got it.
I don’t think the issue is that they made a lot of money giving speeches. That’s free enterprise. This issue is the hypocrisy in declaring that you’re a champion of the middle class while simultaneously accepting mighty large speaking fees from big corporations who expect you to pick up the phone when they call.
Wow! How can you fight to reform Wall Street if you’re buddy-buddy with them and getting paid millions for your “insights”? I didn’t think either Clinton had a background in finance.
These are not speaking fees, they are bribes. This woman is a low down, deceitful crook and must be kept out of office.
Correct – it is political tribute
How about balancing your article with information on the paid speeches made by Jeb Bush?
http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2015-06-30/the-complete-list-of-jeb-bush-s-paid-speaking-gigs
Just do a little basic division and get back to us. You’ll see the operative difference.
Today do the math… Uh, $40,000 per average speech vs $240,000??? Get real.
Did Hillary really wear that? Maybe Scotty will save the world by beaming her up.
Maybe it was rainny that day… ;-)
Maybe it was rainy… ;-)
Her new face looks somewhat like her old face.
This woman is out of touch with humanity, she is a neolibcon whore of Israel, and has nothing to offer US but a further slide into division ,endless war and feudalism.Corrupt to the core.
No wonder she’s so frigging smug as she awaits her coronation. A woman of the people? Ha! Still voting for Bernie, even if I have to write him in.
And when push comes to shove, good people will vote for her, a bad candidate, because they don’t have the balls to do the right thing, and vote for the good candidate. We get the government we deserve.
I’ll take her over any Republican, but who I prefer in the White House next is Bernie.
After that statement,it would be accurate to say you are your own worst enemy.
She’s just another Republican, bought and paid for!!!
…and you just KNOW what she told them in those speeches:
“Not to worry! I’m on YOUR side!”
Berny, Berny, Berny.
That’s “Brand Berny”.
see:
http://www.truthdig.com/report/item/20090503_buying_brand_obama
That’s a lot of money for someone who has nothing meaningful to say.
I keep wondering what she’d have to say to Bankers and Financial people??? I’d love to hear one of her speeches for myself. Probably something like “Donate to the CGI if you want favors after I become president” and please send sensitive emails to my personal email address which I wipe weekly.
so?????????????????????????
Julia Roberts makes more money for one film than the average person makes in a lifetime????
are you going to try and CONDEMN her also?????
Yeah, I like Julia Roberts but would you pay her $200k for a 15 minute speech?
*I don’t know what Hillary is selling for $200k a pop, but I’m selling speeches for the low, low price of only $19.95 (+ S&H). But Wait! If you act now, you will get an additional speech at no extra charge. That’s 2 speeches for the price of 1 (plus separate S&H.).
Act Now!
The issue is that Hillary unlike Julia Roberts is running for President of the U.S. Someone who speaks on the issue of “wealth inequality”, it seems she knows nothing about it. When you have banking institutions such as these that are paying for speeches, how much are they donating towards her campaign? Do you think Hillary will try to stand up to these Wall Street firms when there paying her $200,000 for a speech?
Welcome to the farm.
If you’re going to sell out, then selling out for money seems like a good choice. Money is a store of value and a useful medium of exchange to obtain goods and services. It perhaps doesn’t have the physical appeal of being paid in gold – but gold is rather heavy to cart about, especially during an election campaign.
So I don’t really understand the criticism of the article.
OMG! What are you selling now, benitoe …how to be a Rock Star of free-market economics?
I think the idea is that it seems like a conflict of interest to be receiving large amounts of money from banks for speeches while she’s an active political figure. What does she say in these speeches? Are they like motivational type? Maybe just another loophole for big business and politicians to collude for what each other want
The photo that heads this article is all you need to know about Hillary Clinton and the company she keeps. Lloyd Blankfein is one of the slimiest financial creatures in the business. Your interests and my interests are NOT in their interest. All they are interested in is Hoovering what little wealth we have up into their stratospheric bank accounts.
I thought being rich was good – Trump is rich and he made a lot of money dealing with shady friends. I get it its ok when republicans do it.
Trump made his money in business.
Hilary makes money by being bribed for political favors by banks.
Difference.
It’s not a bribe if you give a speech. ;-)
Trump was born rich.
The only real American candidate running,as his interests are ours, not globalism from Zion,as every other,in both parties supports.
If Bernie could drop his Zionism,he would be included, but being Zionist gives the finger to the Constitution, which of course the Zionists hate.
Bernie supports a 2-state solution. Bernie opposes the settlements. Bernie support Palestinian rights.
Who is your candidate again?
It shouldn’t be “good” for politicians from either party to trade on their positions. While it might be morally wrong to amass huge wealth (and for every Republican billionaire how about mentioning a democratic one?), it is not the same thing.
Minimum wage for the Clintons, $1/4 million/hour plus expenses…
$12.00 for everyone else, assuming she gets around to it in her first four.
What on earth does she talk about that commands these fees? Oh yeah, it’s all about “access”.
Promises,promises.
yep, just follow the money. best way I know to cut through the bullshit, to see what’s what.
The banks and financial institutions owe a lot to the Clintons, so if they give out a little money it’s no great deal. If you are in business then you need to know where to make the right investments, or else somebody else will do your business. I have heard of businessmen purposely losing huge amounts of money to politicians during gambling where they have a large number of witnesses. The same happens during contrived lottery draws. At least the money paid after lectures is a dignified way to earn a few bucks.
Bill Clinton may soon become “First Husband And Lord of the United States” (FHALUS). If that happens then the automatic spell-checkers will give him nightmares, making him something like Dick Cheney.
Bent Dick Cheney?

Why hasn’t The Intercept reviewed and promoted either Paul Street’s book They Rule: The 1% vs Democracy, or Laurence Shoup’s new book on the CFR called “Wall Street’s Think Tank”?
Bernie Sanders is the only decent candidate with a 1% chance. After the disappointment of kiss-ass Obama I prefer wealthy old politicians with the proper philosophy. They are likely to be less beholding to the shadow government and less susceptible to bribes. Hillary having money is a positive, but her record of ass kissing to corporate powers and the MIC makes her a worst case scenario.
You’ve learned nothing from the last 7 years.
“The result of having our history dominated by presidents and generals, and other ‘important’ people, is to create a passive citizenry; not knowing its own powers, always waiting for some savior on high, God or the next president, to bring peace and justice.”
– Zinn
Arundhati Roy in 2004 said:
“the U.S. elections have deteriorated into a sort of personality contest, a squabble over who would do a better job of overseeing Empire. John Kerry believes in the idea of Empire as fervently as George Bush does. The U.S. political system has been carefully crafted to ensure that no one who questions the natural goodness of the military-industrial-corporate structure will be allowed through the portals of power.
“Given this, it’s no surprise that in this election you have two Yale University graduates, both members of Skull and Bones, the same secret society, both millionaires, both playing at soldier-soldier, both talking up war, and arguing almost childishly about who will lead the war on terror more effectively.
“Like President Bill Clinton before him, Kerry will continue the expansion of U.S. economic and military penetration into the world. He says he would have voted to authorise Bush to go to war in Iraq even if he had known that Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction. He promises to commit more troops to Iraq. He said recently that he supports Bush’s policies toward Israel and Ariel Sharon “completely.” He says he’ll retain 98 per cent of Bush’s tax cuts.
“So, underneath the shrill exchange of insults, there is almost absolute consensus. It looks as though even if people in the United States vote for Kerry, they’ll still get Bush. President John Kerbush or President George Berry. It’s not a real choice. It’s an apparent choice. Like choosing a brand of detergent. Whether you buy Ivory Snow or Tide, they’re both owned by Proctor & Gamble.”
“To imagine that a leader’s personal charisma and a résumé of struggle will dent the corporate cartel is to have no understanding of how capitalism works, or for that matter how power works. Radical change will not be negotiated by governments; it can only be enforced by people.”

This is a well documented, informative, well articulated commentary adding perspective on the scale of the Clintons’ very troubling peddling of access and influence of a former president, Senator and Secretary of State.
The alarming part is that for three years the Clintons have been feverishly selling access and influence of potential future president for tens of millions in their own pockets, hundreds of millions laundered through the “charitable” Clinton Foundation, and hundreds of millions more to Hillary’s campaign, PACS and Super PACS. NO presidential candidate in history has ever had this level of conflict and obligation to special interests, corporations, billionaire cronies, and foreign nations.
Both Clintons poor mouth about their finances. They never acknowledge that while in “public service”, taxpayers provided them with luxury housing, chefs, housekeeping, childcare, drivers, luxury travel and accommodations, huge entertainment budgets, full staffs including media relations. Above and beyond that, as president, Bill earned a total of $1.6 million in salary.
The Clintons often cite their HUGE legal fees as evidence of poverty when leaving the White House. Yet they never note that “huge and insurmountable debt” was paid off within six months by donors to the Clinton Legal Expense Trust, which raised $9 million by June 2001 from BIG money political donors, corporations, and foreign interests saying “thank you” to Bill for past favors, and as down payments to both Clintons for future favors.
http://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2001/07/23/paying-clintons-bills
Neither do the Clintons acknowledge that Hillary received an $8 million advance on her first memoir in 2000, before leaving the White House and entering the Senate, where she earned between $145,000 and $169,000 annually as a Senator. Immediately after leaving office, Bill Clinton received a presidential pension now at about $200,000 per year, plus a $1 million annual payment for expenses. He also received a reported $10+ million advance for his memoir in 2001.

Ladislav Din: You ought to seriously consider writing a book. Generally speaking, people love this “political, insider skinny” stuff. Excellent points and research related links. Thank you!
could the Intercept also disclose a overview of Glenn’s speaking giggs and how much he made of it. all fair game, ain’t it.
Sure. And no one would care, because Glenn isn’t in charge of regulating the people who had paid him. So that’s fair, but it’s not the game.
Don’t be so naive. People in the media business have a lot of clout. A word from them is more valuable than thousand of ads. Plus, they usually have direct contacts with the regulators and politicians. I know that Glenn Greenwald is above this petty stuff, but this is how the media people make a pile of money, and most often they don’t even care to be discreet.
Sheesh.Go home, open the fridge and cabinet, and compare apples and oranges.
because Hillary is a woman, she deserves that much
How do you know she deserves that much?
Why,old bent dick never gave her his all?
I can make no judgement about whether or not HRC is being paid “too much” until I know what others are being paid. A table of what ANYONE gets paid for making speeches would be helpful. Is this information public? This should include past Secs of State specifically. I am reminded of the Congressional Committee talking with Cecil Richards and criticizing her for making a decent salary.
At least she actually showed up for the speech/bribe her goldbricking daughter was actually paid a higher hourly wage at NBC before resigning
The Poll should be who’s more likely to lie to you Hill, Bill, (answered) or the Don.
No Bush No Clinton…. Bernie and Donald are refreshing
Maybe we will actually have an election and a vote that counts.
Yes,a choice between those two, would be very interesting.
The fees paid are obviously the purchase price for Hillary Clinton’s political “friendship”, but it would nevertheless be interesting to know what insights she provided these financial behemoths to justify their bribes and support the illusion of her integrity.
Can anyone tell me what Hillary and Bill Clinton talk about in their speeches that they earn such high fees? Are transcripts available?
Here’s the way it works, from Hillary’s UNLV speech: “Transcription solely for speaker’s record….sponsor shall have no ownership rights of any kind.” No audio recording. Approved video recording only. So basically, if there is a record, the Bill Hillary and Chelsea Foundation is the only organization that has a copy.
https://assets.documentcloud.org/documents/1276128/hillary-clinton-signed-contract-from-unlv.pdf
Walter Cronkite was a lifelong member of the Federalist Society which is conveniently omitted from his Wikipedia bio, but he wasn’t this group are proponents of a one world government, like Mrs Clinton Secretly wants, that’s who she congratulated him upon receiving a lifetime achievement award several years back. You can see the video on YouTube. This woman is not who she says she is, but if you vote for her, you’ll get exactly what you deserve.
Excuse me? Can someone say “Athletes?” Some guy without degrees or, maybe, even a high school diploma, gets millions of dollars a year for hitting or catching a ball. And this rag is complaining about speaking fees? Nothing but another way to denigrate Hillary. If you’re going to look at speaking fees paid to politicians once they leave office, there’s a long list from the other side of the aisle that could have been included, starting with Saint Reagan. But nooooooo. It’s Hillary. Pleeeeese.
You’re kidding right? She wants to run the government and “regulate” banking (banksters make markets, banksters rig markets) . Athletes don’t lie about being on the side of the poor and middle class and DON’T HAVE A CONFLICT OF INTEREST IN TAKING MONEY, BECAUSE THEY REGULATE NO ONE.
IT’S THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST – THE MONEY STUPID!!
So tell me something new. “Since 2009, POLITICO has found, [George W] Bush has given at least 200 paid speeches and probably many more, typically pocketing $100,000 to $175,000 per appearance. The part-time work, which rarely requires more than an hour on stage, has earned him tens of millions of dollars.”
It’s how the system works. Get in office and then become a lobbyist or a speaker on the corporate circuit. But the headline was meant to anger us about Hillary. I still say this article is nothing but a one-sided attack on Hillary (who I’m not voting for in the primary because, like you, I don’t trust her relationship with Wall Street). But I’m not taking the bait, believing she is the problem. The whole system is the problem.
I’m pretty sure he’s trolling; he has to be trolling. Man I hope he’s trolling.
Whoa there caps lock. Chill out.
First of all. This is a democracy. You need to talk to everyone. To imply that simply talking to banks and wall street makes you part of a vast global conspiracy is a bit ridiculous.
“Athletes?”
Are tennis players athletes? They have college degrees and often speak several languages. (Do you?)
They entertain, just like actors, who get paid pretty well. But Hillary bores one to death with her speeches and lies, and she is not even good to look at.
I would not spend a dime on what’s her name’s speeches.
I don’t think Reagan had the mental capacity to get much for speaking fees after he left office.
How quickly we forget…which, of course, is what they want us to do. But in early November of 1989:
“Ronald and Nancy Reagan’s visit to Japan last week was sponsored by the giant Fujisankei Communications Group, the country’s largest media conglomerate, which spent a total of $7 million—that’s 1 billion yen—on the Godzilla-size corporate goodwill visit. Sankei Shimbun, the group’s flagship paper, led the fanfare with a banner headline that proclaimed MR. AMERICA IS COMING. And a flurry of commercials on the group’s radio and TV stations made sure everyone knew that meant Reagan…”
…But was it appropriate, critics asked, for a former President to cash in on his White House luster so blatantly? Of the four living ex-Presidents, Jimmy Carter seems to have done the least for financial gain, spending his time instead on church-, housing-and peace-related efforts. Richard Nixon has published seven books, but accepts no honoraria for public appearances. Gerald Ford has turned himself into a one-man industry, producing endorsements, speeches and public appearances and serving on corporate boards; last year alone he earned an estimated $1 million. All that, however, pales next to Reagan’s $2 million single score in Japan. Says Henry F. Graff, a Columbia University professor who specializes in the Presidency: “The founding fathers-Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Madison—would have been stunned that an occupant of the highest office in this land turned it into bucks.”
http://www.people.com/people/archive/article/0,,20121579,00.html
If one likes Jimmy Carter, one can’t like Hillary Clinton,at least politically.
And Reagan is cold as ice,as in d-e-d dead.
Hillary needs no one to denigrate her. All attempts at disparagement pale in comparison to reality.
Your comparison to athletes is weak. Athletes don’t regulate the people they entertain. There’s no conflict of interest. Hillary has a direct conflict of interest. This payment is indistinguishable from a mafia shakedown.
Your allusion to Reagan is a non-sequitur. It bears no relevance here. Even if it were at all relevant, hypocrisy is not a valid form of logic.
Hey knucklehead,Obomba lists Reagan as one of his idols.Shillary grew up as a Goldwater girl.
For “speaking fees” read “bribes”.
Can you say “Bailout”? AND for bonus points, can you say WHO got bailed out?
So good to hear that she’s different from those greedy republicans
Good for her. No one and nothng operates in a vacuum. If Bernie Sanders thinks, that because he hasnt been supported by Wall Street, that he is going to breeze into the White House and start changing things, the way they are done, and take coprorations and put them in their places, in spite of Congress and all of the other forces acting in Washington, then he is even more delusional than he appears. Being a visionary for the people is great, and it sells to the public, but reality is quite another thing. Poking your finger into a podium, ranting and raving, turning red in the face with anger, and spewing spit while you are doing it is very good theater, but we dont live in that kind of a world.
Then, if we jump to foreign relations, there is certainly no comparison. If you think the US is in a vacuum, just look at what just happened to the New York Stock Exchange when China’s stock market fell. The world is so interconnected that its too late to be isolationist.
As for health care, let me tell you. I will be turning 65 and started looking into Medicare. All I can say is that if a single payer system is built around expanding Medicare to everyone, there will be people dying in the street. What a tangled, unmanagable mess it is.
I don’t care if your name says flexdoc. Or even if you are a doctor when it comes to health care you have no idea what you’re talking about. My job is to enroll and counsel people on healthcare every single day, about a thousand people a year. I see people making $8 an hour up to the person I enrolled today that makes $500000 a year. The system we have is nothing but a fleecing of the American public and all the funds are going to the rich. one perfect example, last year two writers in their sixties move to Spain for 3 months to do some writing. The husband had a brain aneurysm spend a week in the hospital and had operation. The day he was to get out he had a heart attack, spend another week in the Hospital and had another operation. This was one of the finest Hospital in Spain their insurance did not cover for overseas omedical care. They braced for the bill. A few weeks later it came in at a whopping $21,000. That same care in this country would cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. For the exact same care or probably less time spent in the hospital. This health care system is broken, its going up in cost exponentially every year and it will explode. Then you will see people dying in the streets
Disturbing testimonial, Deadheded. Thank you for being so forthright and honest about your own on hands experience. We need to know the truth about matters such as these. :-)
It is a problem when politicians blatantly cultivate personal patronage funds for favors. They are selling out their constituencies well-being, and in many similar situations, it’s rightfully illegal.
This scam is indeed good for Ms. Clinton–so very profitable that she turns a blind eye to any sense of decency and moral standing. Note that she and her husband have already skimmed over $200 million from their escapades in “public service.” Where can we return this gift?
Hillary will lie through her teeth just like Trump. They are both in the same class. Neither should be president!
Other than his statement of dancing Muslims, which confused Israelis with Muslims, can you document his lies?
His stance on immigration, while harsh and hyperbole to a degree,is and was based on the truth it hurts Americans, unless one likes slaves and to be attacked for being American.I know the rich do like slaves, and they also, the rich Zionists, love to divide and conquer US.
What does she say exactly in these speeches that is worth so much? I am truly mystified.
Probably “Hi boss, I’m here to pick up my paycheck”.
I have been wondering about them, as well. What could she possibly have to say that we don’t know already?
FEEL THE BERN 2016!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So what? She has a law degree. Why not compare to other lawyers? Probably because it’s not as exciting of a story.
She’s also been a Senator and Secretary of State. These positions add ‘value’ to speakers and raise speaking fees. Ditto for her husband, ol’ whatsisname.
I don’t like her much myself, but this entry is just a whine-fest.
Considering her husband’s repeal of Glass Steagal, the resulting meltdown, bailout and now even bigger banks and the fact that she does not want to reverse the repeal?
It’s an issue, it’s a big deal.
Thank you for pointing this out to the Bill. She is less than crap and should not be the first woman to be head of the United States!
Excellent points. Thank you, Alpha! Bernie Sanders 2016!

What’s there to compare? If you seen one slimy scum-sucking bottom-dwelling scavenger…

Maybe in your 1% capitalist cheer leading cesspool. In mine, we prefer guillotines to speak for us. Now excuse me while I test the lunette. After all..it won’t be long.
For someone accusing others of whining, you’re doing a pretty good job yourself.
The most expensive lawyers – top Wachtell/Skadden/Latham partners – are billing <$1500 per hour. The great Teddy Olsen is reportedly billing close to $2,000 per hour. Hillary is billing $150,000 per hour.
Maybe my maths are bad, but that seems like quite a difference.
So, talk is not cheap after all.
So, can she speak to the Chinese main stock exchange this coming week?
A shining exemplar for prostitutes everywhere.
As if this staggering sum of money paid to a politician for opening their trap for an hour, isn’t enough to cause a tar and feather party I don’t what would.
However..this should cause a coast to coast insurrection of biblical proportions…

Unfortunately, the sheeple of the Dumbest Country on the Planet continue to believe the words coming out of the politicians mouths. In a parallel universe of sane human beings, total, unmitigated 4th Gen warfare insurrection would have taken place in 2008. In ours, meh. ..don’t bother me..Murican Idol is coming on.
sheeezusHfuckingchrist. If stupidity were weather, the DFCOTP would be a perpetual Jupiter scale hurricane.
Excellent resource linked article. Thank you, hellfire! Hillary Rodham Clinton gets my vote for poster child of the “entirely broken political system” in this country. Bernie Sanders 2016!

What really irks me to no end is her always smug smile and regal attire…
She’s such an overgrown princess!
I find that vile, smarmy, lying woman to be revolting, and I would be shot before I ever cast a vote for her.
I’m sure Huma would be glad to do that for her too…
Its like the worst of “Mean Girls”.
I don’t like the Clintons but I respect the hustle.
She was probably lecturing them on how to play nice with the little people…
If these corrupt banks “give” someone money
it must be a very lucrative investment for them,
but there is only one sentence which the Clintons keep
repeating and repeating indefinitely ,
“It depends what the meaning of the word ‘Is’ is.”
This is the bottom line beneath all the other words
which come out of the mouths of
the corporate democrats and republicans and
all of their words are used to massage the bankers egos.
Bloodstained vanity on an international scale.
She must be quite entertaining to justify such high speaking fees…
You should see her do the ” Dance of the Seven Veils” … worth every penny!
hahahahahahaha
