Aida Touma-Sliman
Aida Touma-Sliman is a Palestinian member of the Israeli Knesset, representing Hadash on the Joint List. She was the chair of the Knesset's Standing Committee on Women and Gender Equality. A leading activist for feminist causes and is the founder and past head of the Arab feminist group Women Against Violence. She was previously the editor in chief of the newspaper Al-Ittihad.
