Julie Reynolds was editor of El Andar magazine before becoming a staff reporter at the Center for Investigative reporting. Her work has been published in The Nation, Newsweek, PBS, NPR and other outlets. She is a co-founder of the nonprofit news site Voices of Monterey Bay.
