Summia Tora is an Afghanistan Observatory Scholar at New America. A Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University, she is the founder and executive director of Dosti Network, which aims to reduce inequities among Afghans by providing financial and immigration support to marginalized Afghans trying to survive in the country or seeking to flee.
Summia is an Echoing Green fellow and a human rights law adviser to Malala Fund. She has also worked with the World Bank and Schmidt Futures to make scholarships and education accessible to refugees and girls.
