Tim Arango

Tim Arango is a Los Angeles correspondent for the New York Times. Before moving to California, Arango spent seven years as the Times’s Baghdad bureau chief, covering the drawdown of American forces in Iraq, the rise of the Islamic State, the downfall of Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, the return of the American military, and the offensives against ISIS in Fallujah and Mosul.
